On Monday the 22nd of December of 2008, corruption was exposed on one of the most promising phone-systems of this decade--and condoned by the other administrator on the system that was soon to be the best one out there.
Two teens, Iyana from Alaska (also known as VoodooIllusion, Illusion, FeatherBoa, Princess Leia, Rainbow, SilverImmortal, or SidheVision) on other systems, and Simon from Ontario, fairly famous (or infamous) My Telespace users were deleted on December the 22nd under false accusations by Larry from Los Angeles. Larry took it in to his mind to interpret a message from Iyana that clearly stated that she could expose things on him that could put him in jail and knew people that could get it done in to a message that he said contained a threat of "physical violence or death" as stated in the My Telespace terms. Running to Gordon, the more active administrator on the system, he showed him the message, emphasizing only the parts of the message that he could possibly interpret as threats of "physical violence or death."
Gordon, who is known for deception and lies, deleted her simply because he wanted an excuse to do so in the first place and because now he thought he had a valid reason, though later he knew both sides of the story, which sources inform me he clearly stated on My Telespace's main bulletin board the day after the incident.
I, Iyana, want all who read this board to be my witnesses. I will not stand for this. I implore you to aid me in stopping the corruption that is slowly spreading through the phone world--and out of it. I at least implore you to recognize the corruption and stand against it whenever you see it unfold. This may not be world-wide corruption but this, small-time corruption, is exactly what led to corruption of far greater magnitude. The manipulators lie and deceive the way up through the system, from tiny, to small... to bigger... to bigger... and so on.
Also, please be my witness on this: I officially wage war on Larry from Los Angeles and Gordon of My Telespace administration.
I as well have been hearing about the activities of Gordon and Larry over the past day and a half. I would like to agree whole-heartedly with Iyana. Gordon is corrupt. It is one of the reasons why I have not gotten a my telespace code for myself. I would not trust Gordon to run a talkee system, let alone my telespace, and the fools who put him in charge are soon going to learn what kind of person he is, the hard way.
My Telespace really isn't worth getting that upset about. It's just a phone line, and given Gordon's history, it's bound to be corrupt.
I'm not really upset about it--the main person I'm waging war on is Larry because he's fucked with me for far too long. I might just drag Gordon's reputation through the dirt a bit, but I'm going to utterly destroy Larry. It's just in my nature to fight corruption, ies, and deceit. I'm a little fiery. lol

Unfortunately, Gordin, otherwise known as Grandpa, never had much in the way of brains, and it seems that Larry has become Grandpa's new boyfriend, along with "Old Frezno." I find it funny that Grandpa is now acting like such a stickler for the rules, when he has never lasted on any other coded system. He got the shaft from Clubtel, Kfone, the Live Line, and the PipeLine, and yet he wants to act as if he never broke a system rule in his life! The only answer I can come up with, is that he's in love with Larry!
Yep, this is Larry from KFone that's acting like this. If you ever looked at the Bashing Zone you'd see how much Larry is really a miserable, worthless, whining bitch, and if you looked on My Telespace you'd see that too. He's really unoriginal and pointless, re can't bash, and the only remotely good thing I've observed about him is his voice, which is really formidable in bashing until you realize that he relies solely on that as his intimidation. Otherwise, he can't bash worth shit because he's been saying the same things for months.

I'm surprised this topic hasn't been deleted. I don't know anything about MyTeleSpace, or the people on either side of the dispute, but some of the statements in this topic, such as "Gordon is corrupt" are defamatory and libellous. As far as I know, the two people who have been accused of being corrupt have not been found guilty of being corrupt in a court of law, just as the owners and moderators of the Zone haven't been found guilty of corruption in a court of law.
I tried to sign up and even wrote down my number etc. But I could never log in with it. It kept saying there was an error and the password wasn't right. Can I create another account without getting in trouble, considering that I never even used the first one?

I wouldn't if I were you, but if you really want, email gordon at gordon@gordonradio.com and ask him right there if you can have one, and that way, he will know you're a real person. He's not as willing to accept new users as you might think, and often rejects people for no reason. Also, yes this is Larry from k-fone... haven't you ever looked at the bashing zone? He's been doing this shit for years. I'll pu up some recordings if anyone wants.

Also, I have to wonder if Gordon is getting payed for being an administrator. We've all seen what he's like on other systems, but he seems to tone it down slightly on my telespace. I have to wonder exactly what prompts him to even try and put on an act. If anyone was around in the 712 days (back from march to early june) you might have heard the show that Gordon did when he was temporarily stripped of his administrative powers. I quote. "I am officially... out of conrol." He then went on to say that his show was going to go back to the way it used to be... and again, I'm sure any long-time phone worlders know exactly what I'm talking about. Interestingly enough, he took that show down a couple of days later, before I got the chance to record it unfortunately.
One does not need to be convicted in a court of law to be found guilty of such things as are being exposed out here. If you don't like this topic, as Scott says in the intro to K Fone's Bashing Zone, "If you don't like it in here, stay out!" Now, onto the reasons why Grandpa Gordin is being accused of the things he's being accused of. He, as I previously said, has never lasted on any coded, moderated phone system, except for My Telespace, and the only reason he has lasted out there, is because the owner of the system is a relative newcomer to the phone world, and knows nothing about his past. Let's see. When he was on K Fone, he violated a major rule, and was deleted, after which, he hacked his way into several users' codes to regain access to the system, where he proceeded to cause more trouble. On Clubtel, which no longer exists, he violated the "no bashing rule," and after he was deleted, he once again hacked into the codes of several other users, and violated additional rules, causing the other users in question to lose their codes. On the Pipe Line, he also violated a major rule, and what do you know, the same thing happened over there! On the Live Line, he, guess what, violated a major rule, and, oh, big surprise, hacked other users' codes. That's really someone I'd want running a system! Not! Especially when he regularly gives out the telephone numbers, and other personal information of people he doesn't like!
To answer Andrew 1989's question, Grandpa Gordin is getting paid for basically pulling crap, oh, I mean, being an administrater on My Telespace, and as for toning it down, I don't think so. Recently, he gave out the telephone number, and address of a freshly deleted user, because she had finally had enough of "Old Frezno," and gave out his real name, although another user on My Telespace has been getting away with giving out the full name of Phill, from Philmore productions. As for Larry from K Fone, he's a psycho! He has threatened people with physical violence, including threats to "cut people's thumbs off with a cigar clipper!" He belongs in an institution, not the phone world, but Gordin is currently doing his bidding, just as he's doing "Old Frezno's" bidding. As a matter of fact, if Grandpa Gordin wasn't currently in a position of power on that system, Frezno would have been gone a long time ago. Threats of physical violence are not, and I say again, not allowed on My Telespace, and he threatened to put a caller in the hospital back in June, but he's still out there, doing whatever he wants to do, and getting away with it, and he, and Larry, and any other trouble maker on that system will continue to get away with their crap as long as Grandpa Gordin remains in charge, but don't bash any of Grandpa Gordin's little friends, or you'll finish up being accused of something, and deleted, and then Grandpa Gordin will begin spreading lies about you, and giving out your personal information!

As I said above, I'm not in the least surprised at Gordon's actions. I'm a long-time member of the phone world, though I rarely go on any systems these days. I do have a MyTelespace account but only because I didn't have to give out any financial information in order to sign up. If I'd had to, it would have been out of the question.
And lol, I stay away from the Bashing Zone for the same reason I stay away from public QN's. 'Nuff said.
I wonder if there is a law that prohibits the revealing of personal information in the way in which Gordon and Co. are doing it. A friend mentioned something a long time ago about contacting the FCC for a similar reason. I encourage anyone who has had their privacy violated to press charges.

Haven't seen anything crossing the line here. As long as it's just publicly available info being given out, nothing wrong with it. We certainly don't do anything about trying to figure out what people are saying is true or not, at least in any of our official capacities as staff people, unless it's something regarding violations of the TOS. have fun or something.
First off, Larry can't be amused by what he doesn't know about. Secondly, I fail to see why anybody's surprised. Leopards don't change their spots. Gordon is what he's always been, a no-good prat who thinks a lot of himself, and less of others. Thirdly, I am always amused by those who take the time to sign up for accounts on websites, and then sit and brag about how little they use them. isn't that a bit of a waste of time, and also a bit lame?

For example, when my internet wasn't working, and when the zone was down, I found other things to amuse me greatly. Mytelespace isn't the end of the world. I remember a time when I was about 16 and the zone got blocked at my school.

I appologize for saying that there was a rally against Gordon. I didn't listen to gordon's show, but I heard people who did and told me he has let such users back on the system. Can we now just... leave gordon's phone system life out of it? I mean, gordon has an account on here unlike larry who can't even deffend himself when he doesn't have an account on here. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if suddenly he did get one, but then again, highly doubtful.

Probably because the people actually running My Telespace make money based on how much time people spend connected to the system. From there perspective, it's better to have more users. What they're doing isn't really much of a concern as long as they're calling in and staying connected. Just FYI, ZBP doesn't work this way.
Yes, you are right. Gordon has admitted that the phone company has to pay them per minute for every single number they have running into that system. That's not to mention their conference bridge, which several people including myself use as well.
I had pretty much concluded that zone by phone doesn't work this way, since you seem to be using some of the standard services similar to IPKall.com (In fact, you may even be using this) to connect a telephone number to a sip address.

judging from what has gone on over there of late it is more than a bit of a stretch to call Gordon a stickler for enforcement. The MTS TOS are bairly given a knod and proper enforcement is practically a non starter. Little boy, big toy.
I was actually sought out and attacked for my beliefs and because I was sixteen. And because I was sixteen, I was fair game to attack because I didn't have much to defend myself with. People think it's amazingly fun to attack someone with no defenses, it gets them off are something, people are so cruel most of the time. So all I can say is, glad it isn't real life.

OK what is the history on these phone systems? Are they just for the blind or what? Before coming on here I've never even heard of one of those. Did they start in the mid-1990s? That's when the Star Wars technology (Reagan Era) was declassified and bands were sold by the FCC for a pittance apiece, hence all the tiny startup long-distance carriers that used to bug you during dinner in the mid 1990s. Pre Worldcom's emplosion among other things. The proliferation of fiber optics (Global Crossing and kind) probably had something to do with this?
I ask, because PBX systems, at least as I know them to be, are far too expensive to deploy for a bunch of what sounds like kids fooling around with voicemail / chat / accounts. I'm not a telecom guy, tend to deal with those systems gingerly as you might poke a stick at a semi-dead firecracker on the fifth of July.
But watching this has got me curious. There's little information on Google. Seems the Team Talk or Go To Meeting type solution would simply be far cheaper and more convenient.

It's a telephone system set up with voice bulletin boards that can all be accessed from the phone, voicemail, virtual voice IM and stuff, hooked up to regular servers for the database and things, with an occasional website attached. Think of it as the Zone, with the focus directed toward the phone system. A few have *ren tried games and playlists, but not many.
